Jharmbi & Co. creates hand crafted, welcome plaques to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land. They wanted a simple, clean identity to compliment the design of their product.

Aboriginal people of the Kulin Nation have a rich history, complex ownership and land stewardship systems stretching back many thousands of years. These plaques pay respect to the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live, love and play.

The design is based on Victorian markings commonly seen on Aboriginal artefacts and artworks. The markings connect us to our land, our country and our stories.

The plaque design is printed on stone and is made from reclaimed raw materials that are up-cycled and repurposed to innovatively create a simple beautiful art piece. The mix of reclaimed timbers and stone composite with specialist UV inks results in fine art quality image that is scratch and water resistant, has uninterrupted depth and, as there is no glass, no reflection.
