The Band 4 Hope Project

The Band4Hope Project is an innovative not-for-profit social enterprise which exists to encourage acts of kindness through travelling, trackable wristbands called Band4Hopes. Band4Hopes are ethically handcrafted copper and zinc wrist bands from Africa. Each one is engraved with a unique ID which enables them to be passed from person to person and tracked online, spreading hope by encouraging people to do Actions4Hope [acts of kindness] for years to come.

You can login and see who’s been wearing your Band4Hope, where it’s been on a map and the distance travelled. A symbol of kindness you can wear that keeps on giving and gets better with age!

Since it’s inception in 2012, Miriam has worked with the founders to build the brand from the ground up and launch the project via engaging, interactive and inspiring exhibitions (Off The Kerb Gallery, Melbourne 2012, No Vacancy Gallery, Melbourne 2013), where she also exhibited her photographic art and illustrations.
